On 28-09-12, the last day of hindi diwas which was being celebrated from 14th sep 2012 to
28th sep 2012, srila prabhupada international gurukul students celebrated hindi diwas by
taking part in a poem and slokas recitation competition organized by the gurukul.
students competed by recited poems / bhajans / slokas in front of the judges and the
audience. the principal of the gurukul kunti devi said that the purpose of this function was
to develop interest of child towards hindi and not letting it see in any way inferior to
english.
